Wind, rain and even high tide apparently wasn't keeping some people from going all Andy Goldsworthy on Ocean Beach. SFist took advantage of Saturday's brief sunshine for some beachcombing and came across this art installation near Noriega, which features the usual driftwood and rocks, as well as fishing line, a whiffle ball, a pacifier, a plastic tugboat, plastic balls. We fully expected to see a condom or two hanging from the branches, but we suppose even outside artists draw the line somewhere.

On the back of one piece of wood is written:

Mark or Place
All You May
But Take None of
the Sea
Lest She Take You Away

The communal art looks like it survived at least one night, so come add your beach junk to it. Just remember: Never turn your back on the ocean, lest she take you away. (And no bonfires.)
