Only about 50 cases went out, and they all shipped to southern California, Arizona, and Nevada from November 25-Dec. 1 -- that's less than 3% of all the smoothies made in that region. (They go through over 1666 cases of strawberries a week per region?) No one in those areas has reported any illnesses, but Jamba Juice urges any customers in those areas who've had mysterious flu-like symptoms should call the Jamba Juice customer service line and they'll pay for a doctor's visit.

Also -- Jamba Juice was just bought last week (Nov. 28) by a Florida-based company.
