The couple was reported missing last week, and their vehicle had reportedly been tracked in the Sacramento area on Valentine’s Day, according to the Sacramento Bee. The Toyota with the California license plate 21170G3 had been caught by “Flock Safety” security cameras near Elk Grove Boulevard in Sacramento County. Flock Safety’s license plate-reading camera send instant alerts to law enforcement officers when the cameras identify selected license plate numbers.
Detectives said that found the couple's silver 2021 Toyota Tacoma on Thursday and arrested Greg Hobson, but his wife’s whereabouts are unknown. However, based on evidence collected, police officers said that they believed that Hobson’s wife, Anu Anand Hobson, 53, has been killed “based on evidence collected thus far,” without releasing more information. Her body has not yet been found, authorities said.
Police booked Greg Hobson into the Solano County Justice Center Detention Facility in Fairfield early Friday. He’s reportedly being held without bail. Still, the homicide investigation is active and ongoing, authorities said.
