  • That San Jose Police union director who was charged with smuggling copious amounts of opioids last year has pleaded guilty. The now-former police union executive director Joanne Segovia used her workplace computer to order and re-sell drugs more than 60 times, labeling the shipping invoices as “wedding party favors,” “gift makeup,” and “chocolate and sweets.” [KQED]
